Susan really loved her work. She especially loved the idea that event attendees would remember her events for years, and she had a very strong philosophy about how to make that happen.

To highlight this, we decided to use a quote from her Explorer worksheet as a resume header. The quote is powerful because it gets to the heart of her value proposition. We also used a career highlights section to draw attention to some of the accomplishments that would otherwise have been relegated to page 2.

We bet you would never guess that these positions were not full-time roles. By ignoring her other, unrelated jobs, we were able to help Susan get full credit for the event planning experience she has. Remember, you don’t have to tell them everything!
